Welcome, QuestBridge Matches!
Welcome, and congratulations to the very first members of Penn’s Class of 2030—our QuestBridge matches!
In true Penn spirit, our 18th QuestBridge National College Match cohort is brimming with firsts. Today, we are thrilled to welcome 112 QuestBridge matches—our largest group to date—who represent the first members of Penn’s class of 2030. For 83 of these students, matching with Penn also means becoming the first person in their families to attend college!
Hailing from 106 different high schools across 24 states, our new Quakers span The College of Arts and Sciences, The School of Nursing, Penn Engineering, The Wharton School, and The Huntsman Program for International Business Studies. As they join the Penn community, they will also be joining over 600 QuestBridge Scholars (and that’s just counting our current undergraduates) who know exactly what it’s like to be in their shoes, and are eager to welcome them with advice, encouragement, and genuine excitement.
These students will join a community of inventive, endlessly interested problem-solvers who experience firsts constantly. From finding that first friend through our College Houses, to a first study session at one of our Penn Libraries, to a first visit to Penn First Plus, our admitted students will begin meeting some of the many, many people here at Penn waiting to cheer them on, lift them up, and help them grow.
Our Quaker Questies come to us with true intellectual curiosity and care for others. We know they will use their talents to bring challenge, growth, and kindness to Penn, and we believe they will receive the same in return. Like our founder, Ben Franklin, they will use their knowledge to benefit not just their own communities, or Penn, but the world.
To our newest Scholars:
You deserve to be here. You belong here. You are going to be great here. Congratulations!
