More than 450 student-run organizations support the varied and robust intellectual, artistic, cultural, social, and recreational pursuits of the Penn community.

Below is just a small sample of your opportunities to explore student life beyond the classroom. Also, if there is not an organization on campus that matches your interests, it is possible to get funding and support to start your own.

Enjoy Ivy League, NCAA Division I athletic competition at its finest – whether as a spectator or as a participant, through Penn Varsity athletics. Club sports offer opportunities to practice regularly, and possibly compete against surrounding schools within a designated league or at regional tournaments. Intramural sports are for everyone, from the experienced athlete to those looking to try a new sport. Their goal is to provide fun, safe, and competitive sports programming that appeals to all levels of athletes.
