Living In Philly

We may be biased, but it’s one of the best cities in the world!

Thriving City

Philly offers a large urban setting with a small-town vibe. You can explore world-renowned museums, indulge in an incredible culinary scene (we serve up more than just cheesesteaks!), run through one of the largest urban parks, or catch a performance at one of the many local venues. Regardless of where your interests lie, Philly offers something for everyone. But don’t just take it from us – hear it from the experts:

Dynamic Neighborhoods

As the sixth largest city in the country, Philly is made up of many unique neighborhoods – each representing its own personality and flair. From the historic Old City to Penn’s home in West Philadelphia (born and raised), check out some of the key attractions that make each location special.

Safety & Security

Our urban campus is highly regarded for student safety. Penn has been ranked first for safety in the Higher Education Sector by Security Magazine for seven straight years. With a private police force and a 24-hour-a-day walking or riding escort program for students, Penn is one of the nation’s safest campuses.
